Moped Monday Rides Again.
Jan 3, 2012 By : dankastner
For my first Moped Monday post, I am throwing up two bikes that I have always admired. They were built by Joey Postiglione, a dude who has worked as a moped mechanic professionally in more shops across the country than anyone else that I know of. He was a mechanic at Austin Mopeds, 1977 Mopeds in SF, and Orphanage Mopeds in Brooklyn.
This moped started out as a Puch Pinto, was built in SF and here are the specs:
Puch E50 Engine
Puch Gilardoni 74cc Kit
Dellorto PHBG 21mm Race Carburetor
Puch EBR Front Forks
Polini Pocket Bike Seat
Puch Simonini Exhaust
Clip On Handlebars
17in Lelue Spoke Rims

Here is his follow up build, built at Orphanage Mopeds:

Puch Z50 Engine (Manual Shift)
Puch Gilardoni 74cc Kit
Mikuni 24mm Flatslide Carburetor
Puch Free Spirit Stock Front Forks
Puch Simonini Exhaust
77 Clubmin Bars
17in Lelue 5-Star Rims
